LAVENDER
Native to the Mediterranean, lavender is a member of the mint family and has been used and cherished for centuries in ancient Egypt and Rome for its calming aroma and numerous benefits. It has a soothing floral aroma and is often used in perfumes, massage oils, and facial care products. A famous essential oil in aromatherapy- Lavender is known to aid sleep and reduce skin imperfections. It is an evergreen shrub that usually grows to between 30 and 100 cm tall and occasionally up to 2 m The flowers, which appear in late spring and early summer, are pink to purple and it blooms in spring and early summer. Alpveda essential oil is produced from mild steam distillation of fresh hand harvested lavender buds in Italy.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
- Put 3-4 drops in your air diffuser for floral and soothing environment
- Add 1-2 drops to your carrier oil or lotion and apply to your body for a smoother skin
- Add 2-3 drops in your bath for a relaxing experience after a long day
- Mix 4-5 drops in 100 ml water in a spray bottle to use it as a natural room freshener
